| Congrats John & Caitlin! Congratulations to KCFSC member John Coughlin and his partner Caitlin Yankowskas! They have been selected to represent the USA at Skate Canada, November 19 - 22 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada!! KCFSC home club members Tyler Broderick and Olivia Oltmanns competed last week at the 2009 Junior National Championships, in Lake Placid, NY. Congratulations go out to them - they won back-to-back National Championships! Last year the team won the Juvenile Pairs title and this week, winning the Intermediate Pairs title. 2011 Nationals Site Visit! Calling all skaters! Several members of the 2011 Nationals selection committee will be in town Sunday, January 4, and we want to show them the booming skating community we have here! Join us at the Crown Center Ice Terrace from 8:00-8:20am. Admission is free, however, you need to let Lee Gardner know you are planning to attend. Be sure to wear your club apparel!
KC Metro Figure Skating Reunion Catch up with old skating friends at the KC Metro Figure Skating Reunion Party on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, from 7:00-11:00pm at Ingredient Restaurant & The Ice at Park Place (117th & Nall, just north of Town Center in Leawood, KS)
This reunion is for anyone who ever skated, coached or judged at King Louie Ice Chateau, Iceland South/Foxhill Ice Arena, or Miracle Sports Complex or anyone who belonged to Rainbow FSC, Carriage Club, SBFSC, KCFSC or Line Creek FSC.

KCFSC Holiday Party & Pot-Luck is back!
This year's Holiday Party will be Saturday, December 6th at Ice Sports from 5PM - 7PM. All are welcome, so bring your friends!! KCFSC will provide the meat entree, paper products and plastic ware. We are asking that you bring bring a dish based on the following: Last Name A through H - Please bring a HOT side dish to share Last Name I through P - Please bring a COLD side dish to share Last Name Q through Z - Please bring a DESSERT to share
In addition to the pot-luck, the ice will be available for all to skate. There will be games on-ice and just some time for fun. Don't forget the door prizes!
